HOW TO CHANGE HABITS

It is so easy to wake up and continue on the same path you were on yesterday.  If you have anything in your life that you want to improve I will give you the tools to do it.  Tomorrow will be a new day for you after you read this.

I made a concision decision to change one bad habit per month.  Let me explain. Scientific evidence has proven that it takes 28 days of doing, or not doing, something to create a habit.  Narrow down one thing you want to change about your life and zero in on it for 28 days.  Make your goals very specific.

If you want to loose weight, your first months habit changing activity could be to commit to drinking one 32oz green juice per day, or adding 15 minutes to your workout 4x per week.  If you want to better your career, your can commit to reading one skill building book, or applying to 10 jobs.

Notice I didn’t say ‘AND’.  Start with one simple attainable goal and reach it.  This exercise is to bring you success not failure.  Once you have mastered your first new habit add another one.

In my case the number one issue making me feel insignificant, less than, and hopeless was my skin.  I had suffered from eczema for 16 years.  Not only was my dry infected skin on my legs and arms, but it moved to my face where I could not cover it up.  Over the years I tried ‘everything’.  Last year after watching you tube videos I decided to try a plant based dietary approach.  First month I cut out meat, then eggs the next month, then dairy.  I am so happy with the results and continue on my path.  I still have struggles, but when people ask me, ‘wow,  how do you do that” I’m like….  It’s easy.

I have continued my habit changing self improvement method to my benefit.  I started this blog as one of my habit changing activities.  It has been enjoyable and refreshing to get my thoughts to paper.
